Really enjoyed reading about how the reenactment sites brought the migration stories to life. The way live performances of traditional music can create these unexpected connections across an entire trip is something I've experienced too, especially when you keep running into the same artists in different venues. The detail about the keyboard being added to the traditional fiddle setup in Nova Scotia versus southern Appalachian music is the kind of subtle regional variation thatoften gets missed in broader discussions of Celtic music's evolution, but it tells alot about how communities adapt traditions to their own needs.
