Northern Chihuahua Desert Wildflowers — April 2015
Because of extra rain and snow received in the Northern Chihuahua Desert during the winter, the desert wildflower climax this spring is said by some to be a 100 year event. Judging by photos on other sites, we may have been there a couple weeks past the peak.

These are known as Big Bend Bluebonnets, taller than Texas Bluebonnets.
